Verissima Productions documentary credits include “Zamir: Jewish Voices Return to Poland,” which aired nationally on PBS; “ The Art of Speaking the Unspeakable,” a portrait of the artist Samuel Bak, which was distributed internationally; “Citizens Not Subjects,” which aired throughout the South; and “The Jews of Memphis,” which became one of the most successful fundraisers ever on WKNO-TV in Memphis.
Over the past twenty-one years, Verissima has traveled across the country to produce more than seventy films including short documentaries, video biographies and promotional films for businesses, non-profits and educational institutions such as New England Law Boston, Simmons College, the Ruderman Foundation, the Supreme Council of the Scottish Rite, and The Warren Group.
Pamela Pacelli Cooper has over thirty years of experience as a family systems therapist, researcher, and oral historian. She has interviewed notable public figures, university presidents, and CEOs of major corporations.
Pam holds a Master of Education from Harvard University, as well as certificates from the Birren Center for Autobiographical Studies in Reminiscence and Life Review, and from Boston University’s program in Genealogical Research. She is a past Board member of the Association for Personal Historians, and is a co-founder of the Personal Historians Northeast Network.
Rob Cooper (Director and Producer) has over 30 years of experience producing educational films and broadcast documentaries, including “Good Mornin’ Blues,” hosted by B.B. King, which aired nationally on PBS, and “Opus 139: To Hear the Music,” documenting the journey of a mechanical tracker organ from its conception at the C.B. Fisk company to its installation at Harvard’s Memorial Church.
As a producer for WBZ-TV Boston, Rob was awarded a New England “Emmy” for Money$ense and You Gotta Have Arts. He has also produced instructional and marketing videos for companies such as Reebok, Rockport, GE, The New England, Esquire Magazine, Scholastic Books, Addison Wesley, and the Waters Corporation.
